This isnt necessarily a win 101. They are already talking about restrictions on retail investors, higher capital requirements, no margins, no options.

Some hedge funds might have been temporarily hurt, but they wont be out of business.

The little guys will be barred from the casino doors.

Doing away with naked shorts would have helped.
One simple rule. A share can only be loaned once.
And maybe another rule. Shares shorted can only be 50% of the float, max.
In the digital age they can't track that?
This story has very little if anything to do with the economy...
