    A couple of other notes.

    The CWB improved the basis on CPS wheat on Thursday from $15.20/tonne under the converted December KCBT wheat futures on Wednesday to $8.70/tonne under on Thursday.

    The special contract CPS wheats get a premium of $10/tonne plus you are paid storage.

    A good opportunity to price some in the next while or if bullish, lock in some basis.

      Charlie;

      I believe you have mixed up the Market Development programs.

      http://www.cwb.ca/en/news/releases/2003/122903.jsp

      Navigator Durum is a $2.50/t premium;

      PR5700 CPS is a $5.00/t premium;

      Select CWRW varieties are $10.00/t,

      AND Hard WHite Kanata and Snowbird are to get a $7.50/t premium.

        Thanks for correcting. How are these numbers determined?

          Charlie;

          It sure looks like the CWB is hot on CPS, a price of over $200/t today.

          On DTN I see that both Egypt and Syria cancelled wheat tender sales... they said the prices were too low... would tender at an undisclosed later date.
