Funny that - Biden, purportedly the Great Healer, has a support base that wants to conduct a "9-11 style commission" to investigate the republicans.

    Tucker lays it out:

The left is so far gone that it will not stop its murderous rampage until it has devoured most of its own.

They have crossed the line into totalitarian, Marxist tyrants, stylized by aoc. Pelosi is clearly unhinged.

These are not good times for the U.S.A., or any of the West.

      ajl you are wrong!
Trump was impeached twice! He was impeached by the House for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in 2019, and for Incitement of Insurrection this year.
Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury and obstruction to Congress in 1998
Andrew Johnson was impeached in 1868 on 11 articles.

Accepting a pardon signifies you are guilty. Do you really believe Trump would admit to doing anything criminal?
        For Checking and BinLurking:

Our Western Civilization exists because we in the 'CommonWealth' [Starting with the Magna Carta] English speaking nations who have previously adopted and have used the following standards to build, generation upon generation prosperity and wealth by following the following Principals:

        The Common Law
HISTORICAL Ethical Standards for Legal and Political Governance:
        1. Do unto others as you would have done unto you,
        And the Negative Golden Rule, which states;
        Do not do unto others as you would not have others do unto you;
        2. The two fundamental principles of common law:
*Do not infringe upon the Rights, Freedoms or Property of others, and
*Keep all contracts willingly, knowingly and intentionally.
        3. These maxims in common law which include:
        a) That for every wrong there is a remedy,
        b) The end does not justify the means,
        c) Fundamental principals cannot be set aside to meet the demands of convenience or to prevent apparent hardship in a particular case,
        d) Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law,
        e) Two wrongs do not make a right, and
        f) One can enlarge the rights of the people; however they cannot be taken away without their informed consent.

Building on forgiveness and mercy, we as a civilization who choose to be creative and co-operative; while respecting personal property rights, and the autonomous freedom of personal responsibility and respect of the 'Will' and self-determination of humans their communities, and nations.

Whether or not Ex-President Trump, or President Biden broke the law is a matter for the 'Law' to judge: which a democratic congress in Washington D.C. has determined President Trump to be guilty of a crime worthy of Impeachment.

President Trump does have the right to defend himself under the US Constitution... which he did in the first case of impeachment which did not find President Trump 'guilty'.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is simply 'heaping the coals of division and conflict' by continuing the second impeachment trial. [Experts agree it is very unlikely the US Senate will have the 2/3rds majority needed to Impeach President Trump.]

I was simply stating that President Biden has the duty and obligation to stop this pointless exercise in futility and division... by telling the US Congress and the US Senate to 'stand down' on Impeachment.

President Biden called for healing and building trust between the political left and right in his inauguration speech.

If he truly wants reconciliation... President Biden needs to lead the way to rebuild trust and civil relationships.

Cheers! Bless You! Have a good day!

ajl you are wrong! A U.S. president is considered "impeached" when indicted by the House of Representatives

Most think Richard Nixon was impeached but he wasn't. He resigned before the House could proceed with the 3 articles of impeachment that were proposed obstruction of justice, abuse of power and contempt of Congress

To date, no impeached president (Trump, Clinton, Johnson) or has ever been convicted of impeachment in the Senate however Trump has not yet been tried by the Senate for his second impeachment. It now appears the Senate will receive the impeachment documents from the House next monday.

Trump won’t be impeached since it would take 67 or more senators to do that. Even a Democrat senator Manchin has mentioned this is a ridiculous attempt, all for show.

Count on Trump or a Trump backed candidate to make a run for president again in 2024.

"I feel sorry for you to have such a narrow view of the world because you weren't allowed to think for yourself from a very young age."

Big flag words " I feel sorry for you".
Pretty deep passive aggressive sarcasm there.
You and chuck true to form.
              Opening with a sly insult.
In the light of day it's revealing on your part.
One more for the pecker head column.

Some legal authorities are now saying the Supreme Court Justice who is delegated by the US Constitution; will refuse to allow the Senate Impeachment trial of former President Trump to proceed, because to be Impeached the US Constitution requires it to be the sitting President [or other impeachable officer] of the sitting US Government.

This is why President Nixon was not impeached [as stated above], and why the Republicans could not impeach former Vice President Biden, nor could they impeach President Biden for acts done while being Vice President Biden under President Obama pre-2017.

The founding fathers of the USA constitution were very careful in construction of there constitution. Ex-President Trump [for the time being] will still need to defend himself... Since Democratic House Speaker/leader Pelosi is sending the impeachment articles to Democratic Senate leader Chuck Schumer; it is presumed the Senate impeachment trial will now proceed February 8. If the Supreme Court Justice refuses to oversee the trial... it will indeed be a very short proceeding.

What a tangled web we weave...

I know you to be an intelligent person.

I think you know what came before the Magna Carta. If you have forgotten, it was the Devine Right of Kings. Amazing how Devine keeps showing up in history! The USA came close to a second go of Devine rule with MR. Trump, but for a few swing state Republicans who didn't bow to his pressure to change their election result to his name.

How could a nation, whose ancestors fought a war for independence to get away from a monarch, be 45% willing to slip back into such a relationship?

Take a closer look at the list you typed and reconvince yourself how any part applies to the previous president. Pause at how comfortable you would be entering any contract with Mr. Trump.

There are not enough buses made, or in the making that he would not have thrown you under the second you refused total loyalty to him.

I think you need to explain this line.

                    As in, provide evidence.

Choose your response well, so you don't accidentally implicate the new boy on the throne.

If there ever was a 'coronation' of a 'king' in the USA... it was Jan 20 2021....

President Biden can do no wrong... with his 25,000 troops protecting him...[10,000 Troops to remain for months] plus DC police and Secret Service... on top...FBI, CIA... makes Putin look like a domesticated little tame kitty cat... King Biden has been 'installed'!!!

With all 50 state capitals locked down and ANTIFA roaming the streets.... with Covid-19 on top... it is ironic checking failed to see what actually is going on ... 85 million Americans declared 'domestic terrorists' because they voted the wrong way... and now must be punished and extinguished...

Iran threatening assassination of ex-president Trump with drone... Democrats want him impeached and jailed... as well as totally broke with no pension or personal protection... if there ever was a purge... it is now!
