            No it isn't compulsory. Besides, voting just encourages them.
            Actually I don’t think I have ever missed a vote but it does seem futile here with the population being what it is, eastern and urban.

              Big question ...why do they ask the same question over and over in both official languages...couldnt they ask about some agriculture issues...maybe one or two questions about western canada like a carbon credit program or the re-introduction of COOL and its impact on ranchers???/

                Election engineering going on today. Big cash for Edmonton public transit. Looks like some of those lefty ridings are being targeted.

                Hope Edmonton has some sense and sees right through this, but thats a govt town too.
