    apples to apples

Does anyone know how the total deaths in Canada or even in Saskatchewan compare in 2020 to past years?

Charts I have seen show no change or even slightly lower numbers.

Look for numbers to jump next year, or two as untreated diseases take their toll.

That’s what I was thinking, not much difference.
Obviously the “end of the road homes” will have more openings on any given year.

Wuhan is humming, back to normal. Everyone must have an Alert App and regular testing.

Why don’t they rapid test all the workers in LTC and require them to have an app. Our leaders don’t really want it to end - the scare boosts their popularity and so if a few old geysers succumb...

Caution is needed. Without fully understanding what happened in previous years, current demographics and demographic trends it will be hard to prove anything with just this chart. Also, as I've said since March there are no two identical populations. The outcome in one place will most assuredly not be the the same as any other place

Lockdowns will kill the old too. Wife talked to someone at a LTC home the other day. Said all residents have gone downhill the last 2 weeks. Seeing family is the only thing most have to live for.

Less than 100 Covid deaths in Saskatchewan, I’m betting the small uptick in numbers are drug overdoses and suicides.
