Being one of the older geriatrics on here not up with everything have a basic smart phone dont use features much.

Anyway had to measure something on combine the other day, said to the apprentice i will fly home and get tape measure.

He said na no need i will measure it with my phone.

Opened a app, pointed it at the phone image then a dot at other end came up with length , yeah im old school but thought it was nifty

Google earth is pretty accurate for measuring fields and distance as well. Use it a fair bit. Probably only use a 1/4 of what this phone is capable of. Best invention for wasting time ......... Ever😉

How long have you used it and what did you use before?

We use a file folder for each unit here and add invoices as well for major or odd parts. Usually write the hours on filters when changing them too.
