Here's another one that came to mind. Remember after a big snow storm the huge snow piles that were created after the tractor cleaned the yard. These huge snow piles were excellent to make tunnels through.

Then of coarse all the snow forts, king of the castle, and tobogganing these mountains of snow provided us.

After supper we would enjoy all this fun under the reflection off the white snow created by the yard light.

      Never ending fun!!!

People still do that. You don’t have to be born before 1970 to lay claim to that kind of fun! 😂

Actually after getting the open liquor ticket you end up being in the shithouse after your parents found out about it

It seems the RCMP a lot more lenient back then, and gave those tickets rather than giving the breathalyzer.

Dam lucky many of a times, can believe how stupid I was taking that type of chance.

When I started trucking, guys were still hard mounting those things into the dashes of their big rigs! Now they have 40" flat screen TV's, Keurig's, and toaster ovens!

1959 model here grew up on a farm overseas and can remember as a little kid going to the blacksmith to shoe a horse. I moved to Canada in 1979 by myself and started farming in 1992. It has been quite a ride. From running 8 ft equipment to 60 ft.
