The spread is insane when you figure that the grain could be loaded direct to a waiting ship....just imagine if they could build the infrastructure to have the train just rail over the boats and open the railcars above it...

Most if not all tenders are in public forum if you look hard enough.Originally posted by LWeber View Postdoesn't matter - not enough farmers don't care.
There will never be an export sales reporting program in Canada until a repeat of 1972 happens; however, it is happening, and you'll know in July 2021.
Can guage we’re sales are a bit from that.

Geez why help the dumbass...let him figure it out himself...he might actually learn something...instead of buying into all the nonsense as to why we dont need sales reporting by farm groups controlled by masters.Originally posted by farming101 View PostGoogle "Great Grain Robbery"
It is the reason that the US reports weekly sales

The exporters take profits off shore.
You think the provincial and Fed Govt would want to control and capture the lost revenues through taxation. Retaining and boosting income levels inland, at the farmer level then multiplier effect, 10 x , seems like a no brainer. Maybe the producer groups , looking after member interests, would help lobby and can see this light as well?

The only problem is the conservatives only listen to one producers group that has masters that would rather keep things secret...and liberals dont care either way since they assume since farmers vote conservative they are more than happy to continue to take it without lube.
