Alberta Blue Book...did i read this right?

They are downloading the costs to the commissions? In other words , farmers are paying for the chemical book?

Next they will start charging for it to recoup the costs...

Why? why wouldn't the PMRA/chemical companies be responsible for ensuring accurate data in the book...

    Next up....Saskatchewan????

I may be off on the logistics of this move....but it seems odd.

Charging for the chem book has been that way in Manitoba for ever. Always used to grab an extra for my Manitoba buddy.

In Alberta, the information in the book was free. You could download a pdf version and carry it around on your phone, or use an app. The printed version had a cost, probably just enough to cover the cost of printing and handling.

I guess the better question would be is why are each of the provinces publishing the chem book separately. They could at least collaborate and publish one for all of western Canada.

The blue book is more in depth than the sask one. Right?
