Municipal elections.

Our RM had elections in two divisions. Incumbents won both.
People must have thought they were doing an adequate job.
But it's nice to see challenges, keeps people on their toes.

Regina has a new Mayor.

Perhaps.

Or perhaps people have given it no thought at all,as in apathy.

Or perhaps,in light of recent elections here and next door, there are no good candidates?

There may be better people at the lowly Municipal level than the Provincial or Federal level.

I have seen some real characters at the municipal level in my area !

We had a hotly contested Reave position where one the the councilors knocked out the old Reave.
Two new councilors also got positions.

Our RM council has been floundering the last few years so hopefully this new council will work as a team and run the RM efficiently and effectively. I am not sure that will happen with to new Reave but time will tell.

By some of the stuff I here I consider myself very lucky.
There's always issues but nothing real bad.
