Two points I want to make about the Covid curve:
First off, trying to micromanage human affairs the way nearly every government on earth is trying to do has about the same chance of success as herding cats. If anyone can come up with a way to do that efficiently, let me know.
Secondly, flattening the curve and eliminating the virus are two completely different things. The former does not necessarily result in the latter as we are clearly seeing, even though most people believe it does. Or at least they want to believe it. They are going to be disappointed, over and over and over again.
