    Hell, this is the best fall in years here.

    Winter started in September the last 3! If not 4.

        Last year we’d already had -19 here. Two years prior were both -8. Didn’t go back farther.

        Fairly typical October year so far, if not warmer than the last few years.

          A number of yrs ago on election night of oct 22nd it dumped 2 ft and stayed.

            Starting with Sat. and for the next 13 days, our daily forecast highs, will be equivalent to long range daily low temps.
            Of course the daily lows, will be much lower than the long range low average.

            Two weeks earlier than last year.

              The year the NDP beat Grant Devine a believe October 21 1991. Terrible cold day with blowing snow that never left. It felt like a depression of winter until Brad Wall ushered in spring!

                  I’m sure they made up the term snow squall a couple years ago. I really don’t remember it before then. October is going to make up for September being nice!
