                These were experienced mature workers and I am sure fall restraint is required. There are still many workers not using fall restraint systems especially in construction. I don't know how they can get away with it except there is little enforcement and the culture of safety is weak.

                  Yes this is tragic as is any accident or death in any occupation. The dangers these guys work in and with every day I commend them for having such a good record as they do. They have safety rules, standards and codes of practice for a reason.

                    Life happens, its how we learn. We have great safety records out there. It never made the news before is all.
