My 2388 has been having air intake temperature electrical gremlins. Says it’s hot, shuts off header. Lost a couple nice days trying to pinpoint it. Can’t combine with no header really. One of those things you have to be combining to figure out, can’t really do it sitting still. I think I found the problem, waiting for sun and warm so I can get out and try it out.

I should have an old bullet proof 1680 or something for backup maybe. One combine sucks even if it is for a tiny lil farm. It goes down, your hooped.

    Farmings easy, right?

It’s currently en route............... the controllovirus (thanks sheepwheat) must be messing with it’s timeline. May arrive in a couple months.

*no guarantees and you get what you pay for😉

If you've got hydraulic's, you've got leaks. No matter if its brand new or 40 years old, so don't feel bad.

I learned all about leaky hydraulics. Good thing a super good mechanic, who’d serviced the oil industry for years, made both service sessions on the farm for leaky H’s. You might be combining, but just got finished fall seeding here, in August. Am booked to take the truck into Regina for regular service check next week. That will be my first real “outing of the summer”. Hoping they have freshly ground beans in the coffeemaker at Taylor Motors.

Been a mountain of work so a trip to the city will be a day-reprieve. Pars
