    So spare me.
Not so fast when you brag to the bank you made 300 million and the same year declare a loss something doesn’t jive.

It’s more to do about who he owes as now we know part of that story.

It wasn't a like. But actually you are the hypocrite. You and others of similar slant make a big deal about the subsidies that the oil and gas industry take. So it doesn't help your case when you take them yourself.

Agri invest 1% of ENS matching deposit is a subsidy!

Check offs pay for a lot of research and variety development but Ag Canada And the provinces provide other research and development that doesn’t come from check offs.

My semi certainly drives on roads and burns road tax free diesel! What does your diesel truck and semis burn?

Agriculture in Canada is subsidized to some degree. We certainly don’t have the same levels of support that exists in The EU or the USA. But I am always amazed how free market farmers are always upset by the fact that they dont receive more subsidies and support like Trump gives his farmers to buy their votes! LOL
Can we now discuss the 130 million at the CGC slush fund being used for what exactly?

And what is accumulated at the WGRF from overpayment of freight?

And the annual 35 million on check offs that is suppose to have a multiplier effect on ROI? Seems it needs constant funding....

And then there is AGT getting a railway given to them .

And Merit foods 100 million to create a minuscule demand of a super B a week of peas. ..

FFS we sit here as farmers and you think we are subsidized. ...we are not and it's to the detriment of the industry....who will enter with 1970s grain prices and 2021 inputs that to be bought 6 months in advance while waiting for a train to show up to deliver August or September contracts....with 45 boats at the west coast...

Well most of the posters on Agriville are in the same boat. So why single me out? LOL

Almost all farmers receive some level of support from taxpayers so when farmers complain about subsidies to other sectors, it's good to remind ourselves of what support we receive.

Subsidies and incentives in fact are a useful tool if used properly. But some subsidies are a mistake.

The oil sands have received lots of support and subsidies over the years and low royalty rates as an incentive. So why not other forms of energy production?

              Jazz

"Then you never built a asset heavy business from scratch then like Trump did. All such businesses have debts and some have to revolve that debt or term it and the bills eventually come due. How did you buy your land?"

Took out my first mortgage at the age of 22 and have taken many more since. Was never late with a payment and just kept buying farm land, properties (never condos), and up dating farm equipment, never a problem with any lenders and expanding constantly still.

So you see the difference between a responsible business man (ME) and Trump who has filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy SIX times.

So Jazz keep up your Bullshit Trump business failure excuses (SIX Bankruptcies) posts coming. At least your convincing yourself which is accomplishing something, as your certainly not having an effect on anyone who truly knows how to run a successful business

Jazz, if you truly knew anything about forages, you would know they aren't only grown for "hay" production, so we'll leave it at that as I'm not going to give a crash coarse.

As for you only growing specific crops that aren't covering the bills, that your business decision, nobody else's.

Nice defection from Donny's six bankruptcies though.

Don't bother forage, he will never answer. His hero is a broke grifter with the same business principles as himself, number 7 up shortly. People like Jazz admire him and desires to become just like him. All of his posts demonstrate that. Screw over everyone around you, and to him, that is good business and a character worth pursuing.

                      Gross.
