Who along with me can say thank you for all the heat we had back a month ago. Everything happens for a reason.
We would have been in BIG KAKA without it now.

          -4 with a -9 wind chill forecast.

          6 hrs of below 0.

Expect the heifers won't have water for a while as the hose will be froze solid to the tire waterer.

Seems a bit early for that.

Maybe about a month or 6 weeks.

Hope you guys drained the pumps.

Would have been helpful for sure. The heat that apparently occurred somewhere. Lol

There are lots and lots of acres that will be screwed with a frost of what’s predicted. Flax canary canola green as grass in some places.

Minus 4.5 in garden at 11:30. Covered some garden. Hard to cover a field though

Frost almost like snow on swather.
Thought it was dust coming up.
                    - 4 on the way home just now.
Average first frost for scott , is September 6,
So we definitely do have global warming.
I hate it when it does not freeze till the end of September.
, that means we are due for one 10th of August
Or in july , that was a good one,I thought I had left
Clean grain cover off . Big swath zero in hopper..
And by the way I have seen snow every month except
August, and it only missed that by one day july 31

Another thing , when the flowers got froze in the wheat in july, would that be counted as a late spring frost .
                    Or early fall frost?8

We had some cloud cover roll in last night and blunted the cold. I dont see frost on the roof or windshields this morning. An hour or two under zero.
