Mr. Leo Meyer passes away Friday

It is with a very sad heart... that I found out Saturday, that Mr. Leo Meyer [ Daughters: Kathy and Tracy Meyer, Sons: [passed 2008 -Leo Jr.], Stefan Meyer, Jesse Meyer, Samy Meyer,; Partner and Loving Wife Kathy Meyer, ] Passed away, from a Heart Attack Friday evening, at the Woking Farmstead while working in their grain centre preparing for harvesting and storing their peas.
As Dr. Larry Martin said to me; "Leo had the passion of more than 6 average people"...
The world has lost a wonderful person who Loved Canadian Agriculture with, great passion, being Leo is no longer with us!

Our prayers and tears go out to the Meyer Family in this time of grief and shock, a great friend of Canadian Agriculture and the grain sector in particular, will long be remembered.

I am so sorry to hear this. Leo certainly was passionate on agriculture. He loved his AB farm almost as much as he loved his family, which was deeply.

It would be interesting to know how many downtown areas of western Canadian cities witnessed his Super B cruising their streets after he had delivered some commodity somewhere in the outskirts of town then taking Cathy shopping afterwards.

    My condolences to the family.
