Interesting take, but we are all deep in with the canola seed companies now.

That fight was lost a long time ago.

In 2009 when we were experimenting with Clearfield varieties, hundreds of farmers had a volunteer crop of canola come into their lentils that yr. We were warned to terminate that crop.

In 2008 I had some rep from BASF determined to inspect my fields. He phoned me every few days for the entire summer and would not quit. Saw him come into my field when we were swathing, took a turn in the road allowance and left. Not sure if he got out or what. To this day still dont know what that inspection was about. Never happened again.

Why, because it brings to light the bullshit laws farmers are forced to follow?

If you are a farmer worth your salt, you know what I am talking about.

Or maybe you can watch the movie, and enlighten yourself.

Just going to make Joe Public freak out over GMOs and bash on farmers ruining the world.

Or maybe they’ll realize buying GMO free potato chips isn’t that hard to do, compared to finding GMO free margarine.

                  Hah. As if.

I agree totally. The use of their technology comes with a fair bit of control but if we were to cry wolf to the public we would just turn the light on ourselves and be worse off for the outcome. catch 22.

I would rather be beholden to Bayer and BASF than have some SJWs protesting my farm.
