Easy, your troll post about Jacob Blake was an over reactionary dog whistle release for maximum trolling before the evidence was even in.

Blake was a repeat violent offender already with gun charges. In the incident in question, he was being forgeably detained on the ground by the officers in question and was in possession in of a knife. He escape that restraint, ignored the warnings and the tasers and approached his car and reached in.

I think it was wrong to shoot Blake 7 times in the back.... should have been 8 and finished it and I dont care what colour he is, white should be same ending. Perhaps that is the problem, not that blacks are being overly abused but whites are not getting enough lethal punishment. Sounds wrong I know but reality is I havent heard about any instances where the shot person wasn't a repeat offender, resisting police, likely known to them.

My question is if the alternative was to let him go and have a merry day after he escaped the officers hold, why would the next guy ever submit to authority. Whole world has given up on respect and authority, I truly hope the pendulum swings back the other way before it's too late.

You might think you are being facetious, but if The criminal justice system continues to fail law-abiding citizens, Such as is happening with the riots and looting, What you suggest may very well be the outcome. That may be extreme but we are heading the other way to absolute lawlessness and anarchy where no one is held accountable for their actions. Out of the 2 choices I choose the one that holds bad guys accountable, don't you? Please answer honestly.

Again today in the news, a call for a 40% cut to police budgets, cant remember what us city they were talking about, but same crap coming here.

You think the legal system works well? Takes years for a trial, only to get off on a technicality. Bad guys out in days reoffending. Yet still have innocent people punished because of a jaded jury or judge with a chip on their shoulder. What we have is no better than what you suggest, the difference is the "lynching" is done by the media and special interest groups.

If we are going to talk about about law and order does cracking down only apply to black lives matter protests that turn into riots and looting?

As Rev Al Sharpton, a prominent black civil rights leader said, "We have denounced the looting, when are you going to denounce the shooting?"

It's pretty obvious that when many of you guys claim to be in favour of law and order you are only talkng about cracking down on protesters who you disagree with. There is almost no mention of rightwing protesters and police violence and lawlessness! LOL

In my mind all violence and looting and lack of respect for law is wrong whether left or right. Peacefull protests are the way forward.

Trump is siding with the rightwing protesters and violence. When white supremacists marched in Charlottesville and killed a counter protester 'Trumps only comment was there was "good people on both sides" WTF. Did he denounce the killing of a counter protester? Did he denounce the white supremacists? Nope! Now he has come out and defended the kid who killed BLM protesters in Portland. Again WTF? The kid has been charged with murder!

When are you going to condemn police violence and brutality, violent right wing protesters and lawlessness just like you condemn rioting and looting from the other side?

Law and order should apply equally to all sides don't you think!
