              Wind is supposed to be 50-70 from the SW tomorrow. Well. It blew like a steady hurricane from the south on Saturday. Yesterday it was howling from the WNW. Tomorrow 50-70.

              The wind is finding all the weak canola swaths. We swath NW-SE so a strong SW wind will be the shits. Probably going to lose a bit in the wide open spaces out here(which is the entire Ghetto). Not a heavy crop.

              As long as the 70-90 winds stay away.

              People wonder why I hate the wind.....people left here in the tough pioneering days. Besides having to try and make something from nothing and try to eke out a living.....it can be very inhospitable and disheartening sometimes on top of everything else.

              Could be worse...no bullets are whizzing past me.

                  This "canola" is right beside the field we're combining now.

                  Never came up until the first meaningful rain. There is way more late growth than what initially came up.

                  Last night's forecasted temps would have made me nervous
