    Leaning tower of flaxsa

One of our neighbours had some trouble. Full to the brim with last years flax in the morning and nearly a goner by supper time

Rescued it but just barely in time

Lift it up and put diamond harrow under the vertical legs...it will help spread weight ...and a tad more course gravel...you don't need gravel under the cone...no weight there...make gravel donuts for the skids....IMHO

We use pit run small rocks. then a layer of crushed rock pack and leave. Works well.

Sc**** top soil off down to clay. Bring in more clay an pack till it higher than surrounding ground level. Then put 2 inch crushed rock under skid (3-6 inches deep). Don't need anything in the middle. Won't move an inch.

Had a full bin tip once. All hopper bins are on concrete now and would never think about doing otherwise.

Alta mix concrete in Didsbury makes these concrete floors for hopper bins. I've got 5 of them so far. If you take off the price of the skid they really aren't that expensive on smaller bins. Come in 2 pieces and can be moved in future if need be, hollow center with footing around the outside. Just bolt them down.
