    Harvest Outlook

Forget the climate change global warming bunk entirely

    GSM combined with La Niña.

This crop is already behind. Lentils not in bloom yet. Some canola and wheat just started. I suspect little to no crop to come off in August.

We will need a warm and dry September if there is such a thing.

By the beginning of July several grain dryer dealers were sold out of most models.

I see mud, tow straps, lodged crops, and grain dryers in high demand in this neighbourhood. My friend is still able to get quotes on a new dryer at least. Glad we found a bigger used one in the winter. Just need to set it up yet.

I am worried about low protein wheat or worse yet, frozen.
