My expectations are probably alot lower than some people's. A lifetime of farming in the Slum of the Ghetto will do that to you.

I can’t believe the peas in our area clean tall and thick. Best ever but is it because we were so dry and not our normal wet mud. I always say mud is a dud.

We will need another little shot of rain later this month to bring this home but potential is there.

This is fortitude durum seeded on lentil stubble with 80#N (60%ESN) with a micro snake oil called Golden Harvest.

Passing on all fungicides this year.

How come chuck never posts in this thread?

Parts of oz mostly in the west had great season saving rain this week, whereas a lot of South and east Australia starting to turn dry.

No issues yet but worrying trend

Perhaps we need to start a carpet farming forum so Chuck and a few others will feel more comfortable posting pictures and details about their operations?

There you have it. Circle jerk troll doing his job. Bet you can't abstain from posting for a month or two.

After all, Chuck is all about inclusiveness, and he must feel so inadequate next to sand box farmers such as Farmaholic, or real farmers like SF3, that he is just too embarrassed to post about his own operation. So in this era of inclusiveness, we need a forum where he and Austranada and friends can get together and discuss the benefits of 1/64 scale over 1/32, how to treat carpet burn on the knees, what to do when your parents install hardwood floors. Of course, some rich kid is going to come along and post pics of his 1/16 scale farm, or pedal tractors, then Chuck will need to protest about the inequalities, and find a way to tax the rich kid until he can't afford the pedal tractor.
