Listened to Daniel Smith interview Michael Shellenberger yesterday, it was very interesting. My biggest takeaway was how large a footprint will be required to produce enough electricity from solar because it is less energy dense. Vaclav Smil puts it best:”One troubling implication of that density reversal is that in a future powered by renewable energy, society might have to devote 100 or even 1000 times more land area to energy production than today.” Another beauty from Smil:”In 2000 fossil fuels provided 84% of Germany’s energy. Then the country embarked on a historic campaign, building 90 gigawatts of renewable power capacity, enough to match its existing electrical generation. But because Germany sees the sun only 10% of the time, the country is as hooked as ever on fossil fuels. In 2017 fossil fuels still supplied 80% of Germany’s energy.” Shellenberger is a big fan of nuclear and like Smil believes renewables are not the solution. For the record Vaclav Smil is Professor Emeritus in the faculty of Environment at the University of Manitoba.

        And this guy:

Fritz Vahrenholt was a mastermind of Germany’s ecological movement, Senator for the environment and wind manager. Today he questions Germany’s costly climate policy.

Or they print it then cave to the green dictators' pressure. Like this withdrawn Forbes piece on Schellenberger -

Also, don't forget about Dr. Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace.

He's another who has came out against the fraud of Climate Change.
