Not that we need any, but such a FINE misty foggy "rain" will NOT help where needed! 110% humidity, amounting to SFA.

Chuck made a post related to farming( almost), and 2 people even liked it. Well done.Originally posted by chuckChuck View PostBrandon got 155 mm yesterday in numerous heavy thunderstorms. You don't want that.
Bonus points for not blaming it on global warming, or Stephen Harper, or Albertan separatists.
Extra bonus points for not ending the sentence with LOL, or LMAO, or any comments about flat earth.
How does it feel to actually join in the discussion, as opposed to lecturing from on high?

I certainly hope they are just messing with us. If their 14 day comes true, we have 105 mm ( at the high end) coming in the net 14 days. The pattern of precipitation every day is still unbroken. Haven't missed a day in June, only missed 2 days in May, only missed 3 days total since we started trying to Combine in later April. And looks like we will get well into mid July without missing a day. You think spraying in wind is difficult, try this... Or try combining, or seeding, or drying grain with aeration etc.Originally posted by jazz View PostI think the WN is just fing with us now. This is the forecast as of right now. All we have had is 3 or 4 tenths.

I would love to be in a drought so that i could get some joy out of rain. Its been many years since rain on the roof felt good and it would wake both of us up and that joy would lead us to some play time
Any more rain on the roof at night is just stress and dread that usually ends up with a trip to the basement to turn on the tv and then down there i can't hear the stupid rain!

It sounds like you need to adapt your strategy. For example perhaps every time you wake up and you don't hear rain on the roof you and the little lady could celebrate. You can thank me later.Originally posted by seldomseen View PostI would love to be in a drought so that i could get some joy out of rain. !
PS, might want to set an alarm clock, In case no one wakes up to the sound of nothing ...

Well all the experts had us for up to 70 mm rain and actually we were ground zero for last nights rain.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Just like Trudeau Full of shit.
I am not complaining as we did finally get something.
1/2 in at our yard weather station.
NE of us weather station 1.2 inches small band.
SE of Town got 1/4 inch.
So yea I'm kind of happy it's not the big one, would have been nice to get 1/3 of what they figured.
More could come at 9 to 10 today in round two.
Day time heating might help.
