    Profitability

Sask Agriculture crop planning guide is useful as a gauge of profitability.
It suggests what yield levels in different soil zones are necessary to be profitable.
Recent years of higher moisture have seen higher yields on some crops in brown soil zone compared with black, maybe should be looking back at time periods containing multi year droughts.
Wonder what livestock operations use to forecast profitability?
Do not have access to information but seems prices have not been good compared to costs of production.

Rate of attrition is best indicator of livestock profitability.

All other indicators can be fudged with off-farm income.

Too many lying c0cksuckers in the industry, at all levels, with several layers of padding between their neck and the noose.
