    Co op refinery reduces production!

Good bye cheap fuel. What a joke. Mark my words there will be a "seasonal shortage" coming up along with fuel being more expensive than it was before the Corona. Well, the co op figured out a way around moe's big threat of price gouging. LOL

Should be just about time to have annual shut down for maintenance and turn around.

The sask government doesnt want gas pump prices anywhere near below a dollar a liter because it hammers their tax revenue. Dont kid yourself.

Exactly!! And who does it hurt most?
Farmers. So farmers subsidize the rest.
Saw today moe and apesass almost Moisting each other praising how agriculture is essential but sweat Phuk all for primary producers.
          When will farmers wake up?

They should be investigated for gouging.

Aren't fuel taxes in cents per litre in sask?

There's no fuel demand. What are refineries supposed to do? Be like farmers and build more tanks to store something the market is clearly telling them it doesn't want?

CME and NYMEX are allowing negative futures prices but haven't changed the rules yet, ie can't buy a negative value option or strike. 0 applies for now. Foreshadowing?

CRC says the reduction is in response to low oil prices and reduced demand for gasoline due to the pandemic.

That would be like a farmer saying he is cutting production because of the low price of fertilizer....

                    These guys are mentally retarded....

They should boot Banda out of there....there is still a large project going on this spring that will require fuel to finish harvest and seed....those numbers wouldn't change that much...

Sounds like they are trying to gouge their membership...

Allot of the diesel and gas out there was made on higher crude prices, oil companies hedge their sales just like we do with grains. My guess is some of these cheap crude prices will eventually hit the pumps it will just take time to clear out the system. Like right after seeding.

Seems something is wrong though....Saskatoon at 60 cents at Costco and they do not own a refinery....79.9 at the local co-op and they are part of a company that owns a refinery...

When a Coop Super B tanker leaves regina....doesnt matter where the end point is ....the fuel should be the same at a Co-op....

There is no way it cost 20 cents a litre more to deliver fuel to small town Saskatchewan than to Saskatoon....when the small town is 50 kms closer.

Then a guy should wait for a while longer to fill tanks???????

If oil goes up from zero ...which WCS is at....fuel moves up pretty quick....and at 79.9 locally when oil makes it back to 50 ...gas will be 2 bucks a litre...

Perhaps they dont have empty storage space to continue? What are they gonna do if nobody is taking away the duel in the other end?
