CV19 difficultly

Not really place to talk about issues ....... but anyway

89 year old mother rang this morning about 10.30 am I’m in serious trouble get up her quick as you can I’m down can’t get up.

I will ring ambo she said no no come first drag me into bed then ring em , you won’t be able to visit me in hospital. Smart thinking I thought, then she added whats another 20 minutes.

Off to regional hospital she went into emergency. Cv19 I can only visit between 11am and 2pm 45 minutes only one person per day.

Doctor just rang about emergency situation if something goes wrong prolonging life etc I said I’ve got medical power of attorney all decisions lay with me. I said if it comes to that am I allowed more access sorry sir rules are rules.

Have to meet doctor tommorow to work out plan ahead.

Complicate things she has a uncommon ever rare complaint “giant cell arteritis” google it guys.

Your mom sounds like she's pretty tough. Not gonna go without a fight.

Pretty smart too. She knows she is 89. That's why she entrusted her health matters to you.
