Well it didn’t goes as planned the swaths are nice and big and no snow on top or sides but in centre under middle it’s frozen ice so can’t pick it up.

We are going to try standing spring wheat.

Oh standing canola two guys going and it’s 9.8

Roaded the cows 3.5 miles home yesterday after giving them scourgaurd with the portable alley and squeeze in the corn field. Hauled in three loads of straw to start a bed for them after getting another shot of snow overnight.

Now to work and move the bred heifers home and now the real work starts.

      Hopefully the sun stays out🍀
Holy shit I would die I freeze me jatz crackers off any temps below 12c

doubt if there was much luck involved , more likely just a lot of hard work from a very early age

15.5% and we have a foot of snow, COLD as F! Don't complain about DRY! Harvest is a month away!

Yield/grade loss from the fall? Bet it's drier than your last wheat.

Last wheat I harvested last fall was 20 if it flows it goes. Yes we put the flexes away and are swathing in front. Less damage on combines.

The leader is somewhere over the hill. They were all bunched up at home after the move and we put them in about 30 acres where they calve. I guess we’re all in on CoW ......... it’s the most we’ve ever calved here. My mother and wife are both hinting that it’s too many ............ although on sale day nobody thinks that.

What’s the brown stuff blowing out the back of your machine??? Haven’t seen that in years out this way. Nice job swathing. I don’t see any beaver houses or skid marks either.

Although tonight I’m cheating with spiced rum.

                          Now that brought a chuckle.

A happy Easter to everyone. It's the most underrated celebration on earth.
