Trucking is a laborers job. I've done it myself.
But see, how many realize that mundane jobs are the transmission of the country?
People who grind away at what they do day after day for 40 years.
Check to check.
And the people who set it up and hire them all.
Who feels like carrying on with some crying "How dare you"!

What became of that stunned movement ? I bet they got set back on their asses

Trucking has been a victim of increasing regulatory overreach by government, ever increased emissions regulations resulting in more costly equipment and increased downtime due to said equipment. Now throw in carbon tax on your fuel, recycle fee on your tires, tax on your oil, tax on your filters, and the list goes on. Oh wait there’s more, hours of service regulations telling you when you should be stopping for a coffee or to take a piss. Then don’t forget the all important wanna be cops waiting to find you a tonne heavy or that you have a marker light out so they can make some money to justify their existence. Now when the government needs a trucker to fill empty shelves so the masses don’t start to riot they think they’re doing you a service by bending the hours of service rules so you can work longer and make less. I could also add being held up by a bunch of spoiled union members making well over 6 figures so they can tell you their woe is me story, how many truckers do you think make 6 figures with a pension and get to sleep in their own bed at night? So here’s to the truckers doing a thankless job in an ungrateful world!!

They are still mad that the wealth distribution tax they and their comrades at NFU so blindly supported ended up transferring wealth from them. It was supposed to be taken from the evil corporations, and given to the party faithful such as them. Always amusing when they get hoisted on their own petard.
