Considering the current state of things .....there should be an inquiry about collusion and gouging in the fertilizer industry. ..

Canada's needs are produced locally ....natural gas is at an all time low ....to increase the price of 46-0-0 requires manufacturers to be engaging in collusion and gouging...

It's such bullshit. ...but no politician will look at a complaint....

In speaking to some local fertilizer dealers, they tell me that the hangover from the rail blockades is still persisting. The transportation system remains backed up and one of the casualties is fertilizer shipments.

There's a lot available in the U.S. but that requires payment in U.S. dollars and most likely it will have to be hauled by truck which is more costly.

Rail blockades haven't increased the price of grain that is produced here just like 46-0-0 at belle plaine

And interestingly NO Richardson fertilizer plant right next a rail line has fertilizer delivered by rail....but they could do it...would make more sense...
