    Canada, a huge carbon sink

Why weren't the Conservatives hammering these points to counter Trudeau's carbon tax during last election campaign.

Because the average Canadian lives in the GTA, Vancouver and Montreal bubble and has no clue what the country is about. Harper tried to get credit for our Carbon sinks with the UN and was rebuffed so he backed away from any deal with them. Skippy was too stupid and just rushed headlong into the paris accords and got no credit at all for anything we do. We are basically the same as china in the UNs eyes.

Until the right people can benefit from the sequestering efforts ...it can't happen....so first they have to acquire all the land....

NCC and DU and others have a good block stockpiled already that gives them access to cash...100 million in the last budget...

Sign your land up with them for conservation and they will be making more on your land than the farmer....

        Better yet:

How did farmers go from getting paid for carbon sequestering to paying for carbon emissions?

The answer Mr. Weber is to look at farm group leadership and the politicians that get elected....they are the ones that can make the required changes...

A farmer can ask them to use their heads but ultimately it's those people that allow it to happen...

Because we are looked at as a cash cow for the rest of society and we only represent 2 % of the population..... we are screwed under this current government as it get lead around by the U.N. and it’s climate wealth transfer scheme

No $hit Sherlock and we’re some of the biggest exporters per capita, of edible commodity.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!

And per sq km Saskatchewan is one of the lowest on the planet.

About time CO2 gets measured the way it should be on area and not population.
