    Oil prices????

    Listening to MPs on the Teck oilsand project about how the price of oil will never get high enough to justify the project...

    Can someone please explain why gasoline prices are where they are and why they are staying at lofty levels.

    The WCS is at 30cdn ????

    Heavy oil discounted from that????

    So why is gas and diesel are not coming down...

    Obviously those speaking against the project don't pay for their own fuel...and ask some simple economic questions.

              Isn't gas and diesel a commodity with futures....SO they can just use refining , distribution and taxes as an excuse to gouge?


              Wouldn't it be nice to say that with grain markets...where producers could capture elevation , freight and storage to the west coast since its priced into grain prices to lower our returns whereas the co-op can capture them in fuel prices...

              And don't forget FCL just paid out an extra million to trucking companies because of UNIFOR blockades...

              Meanwhile back on the farm we will soon be picking up the demurrage tab on some 50 plus boats?????
