The: USA, China, India, South America, Mexico, Russia, Middle eastern region...the vast majority of the world has no carbon tax... further the carbon tax on Canadian consumers/Agriculture... does not reduce CO2 production... primarily it is a pay to emit scheme...energy in a cold climate... is required for survival. Kind of like needing to breathe to live.

Same thing could be said about ozone depleting chemicals - Canada's share is too small and not the problem. But Mulroney pushed ahead and helped ban the worst ozone depleting chemicals under the Montreal accord.

It's even worse than that, it forces industry from the artificially high costs countries, into the low cost( and low regulation) countries, making the net environmental impact even worse than if it had remained where it started.

Ask the same CULT Who the f*ck wants it COLDER? To reduce food supply? To increase heating/transportation cost? To reduce their billions with TAXES?

Agree, we should NOT be vilified with a per person C02 %, in such a COLD, empty country, with vast miles to drive/haul, and needing to HEAT homes/businesses over half the year!
