But hypocrisy is not only a badge of honour to these brainwashed shills, it seems to be a prerequisite. They seem to be proud when you point it out to them. Cognitive dissonance at its finest.

The only way to assess the environmental impact of anything is too do a life cycle analysis taking into account all the positives and negatives including the external costs not accounted for.

Speaking of life cycle, here is a good place to start doing your lifecycle analysis:

The report concludes that a wind turbine will typically generate more than twice as much electricity in its first year than when it is 15 years old.

The report’s author, Prof Gordon Hughes, an economist at Edinburgh University and a former energy adviser to the World Bank, discovered that the “load factor” — the efficiency rating of a turbine based on the percentage of electricity it actually produces compared with its theoretical maximum — is reduced from 24 per cent in the first 12 months of operation to just 11 per cent after 15 years.

The decline in the output of offshore wind farms, based on a study of Danish wind farms, appears even more dramatic. The load factor for turbines built on platforms in the sea is reduced from 39 per cent to 15 per cent after 10 years.

Prof Hughes said in his conclusion: “Adjusted for age and wind availability, the overall performance of wind farms in the UK has deteriorated markedly since the beginning of the century.

Was just pricing out a barrel of motor oil and pump instead of ****ing around with jugs and pails anymore
Was surprised to find out they dont take barrels back anymore ?
That was a good system and environmentally friendly
Fu ck we are going backwards ?
Asked retailer in saskatoon what the fu ck i do with old barrels , he said they work good to burn chemical jugs in
What a fu cked up system
Or i guess we can put barrels in landfill with blades off of wind turbines and all the fu cked up home appliances that only last until warranty is off now

Yes basically it NEVER pays to recycle anything at all! What a shame. Being GREEN cost more every time so business will not ruin their bottom line. There are many horror stories of feel good recycle programs ending up in landfills. Quebec plastic recycle recently in the news, went broke.

Canada should copy Sweden and BURN it all to generate heat/energy. End of problem...
