People on the left must have some cognitive disfunction. They look at their lives getting more expensive, wont do anything to take a risk to better their position in life but instead call on govts to tax big business to suport them. Govt implements taxes that land right back on the leftys laps and the cycle starts over again.
Big business is never going to be left holding the bag for your socialist dreams. The lobby all the politicians and have the right connections. They pay 10% business taxes and hide the rest of the income in CCA, depreciation, stock options and dividends. The average lefty has no clue what those things even are.
And then they stand there while the govt gives direct cash to Canadian tire and Loblaws and don't say a word.
In a sane world the carbon tax would go to a giant windmill fund that we would all support, instead it get redistributed for votes and the climate radicals ask for more action.
