Agstar, thanks for the humor injected into this thread.

Free press? You seriously didn't write that did you?

        Free press, that’s comical.
Joe Biden had a huge crowd of 75 at his last ‘rally’. Admittedly he is not the president, and won’t ever be.
Looking forward to Trump getting re-elected.

I feel the Trump phenomena is fascinating no matter your politics.
Less depressing than studying what we have in this country.

Jill Biden had an appearance in Iowa the other night, had between 10 and 20 people show up to hear from the wife of the man who was Vice President of the U.S.A. and who now wants to be President!

One could suggest it would have looked quite different without the USSR.

                  Or the 'Arsenal of Democracy'

                  England was exhausted.

But what the hell does that have to do with Trump?

Woopidy do. Fact remains the US stood idly on the sidelines while the whole of mainland Europe was over run by Nazi Germany. Only Britain stood unconquered yet even in the darkest days of the Battle of Britain when it looked like Britain too would fall the Americans refused to declare on a regime that had killed, and would go on to kill many million people. If the Japs hadn't attacked Pearl Harbour the Americans would have allowed the Axis forces to conquer most of the world.

Americans took their time going over, because it wasn't really clear, that the Europeans disliked Hitler's socialism!

BTW, "mainland Europe" is redundant. All of Europe is mainland, case in point January 31st, 2020

                      lol

BTW2, Europeans still love their socialism !
