      Probably that.

21M cell phone users in china disconnected with no explanation. In china a phone is mandatory for life. They use electronic pmts for everything.

That sounds more like an insurgency crackdown than a virus.

over 6700 tested in Sk yesterday, 86 positive, 4 in hospital. 98.3% negative. So anyone hear what the other 6700 negative tested people have symptoms of? Regular flu? A cold, sore throat, infections? Never hear anywhere, no reporter asks.

Nope, the reporting ends right there. Age group unknown, location unknown, circumstances unknown, underlying conditions unknown etc. Cant whip up hysteria from those stats but for the regular person they would be very informative on your relative risk.

CNN puts the deaths and cases on the tv ticker like its stock numbers scrolling past every couple seconds.

99% of these cases are someone who travelled directly from a hotspot and then infected a family member that they live with. You aren't going to catch this by yelling hi to someone across the street but that's how we are acting.

Its both actually. They are telling us, too many are just not listening. Some see democracy fail, but instead its governments trying to protect people who don't want to be protected - yes they are going to screw up a lot. There is fear and panic, but also arrogance it won't hurt them. The world has stopped.

Covid is only a serious problem if you're the one that's dying. No one on here has said they have it that i know of - this hasn't even begun. One day soon you will see people posting of deaths, not just that somone has it, in their communities, in their local seniors center, emergency departments, ICU's, and even family.

If you're over 60, lay low. As bad as influenza is, and we know how many that kills, this is 10 or 20 times worse and can spread 4 times as quickly. Maybe its time for a little respect to acknowledge what this is. Not fear, not dismissal, but that its a disease that will noticeably affect your community and family and there isn't a thing you can do about it.

And that is the hardest thing for a society who is used to controlling everything to handle. Loss of control, it will bring out the crazy.

We as farmers are pretty good at looking at things realistically, time to start doing that with this as well, find the balance because it is always somewhere in the middle. Not the end of the world, but not going to be easy either.

Underlying conditions, recent travel history? Infected relative?

And I mean cluster locations not the entire province, just like in BC and the US a lot of deaths came out of a few nursing homes.

Again what is the community transmission? Is it people stuck on a bus together for an hour or a family of 4 living with older people, someone who may have just travelled or waving to someone across the playground.

You guys all stop asking questions as soon as you get the bulk numbers. Information to make decisions doesn't come like that and you should all know that from being farmers.

No just general location and general age.
Somehow it does become known who has it in small town Saskatchewan. Maybe the infected person themselves?

You've bought your groceries, now what do you do when you get home?

Italy recorded its 2nd highest case growth number today of +6153 behind march 21 at +6557.

I have them down as going into partial quarantine (reasonably similar I think to what we have in Canada here at the moment) on March 9 and near full quarantine on March 11. The results posted today would be the results from yesterday Mar 25, so that puts us partial +16 days, or full +14 days. A couple more days should show whether they can bring their day/day numbers down. Likely means North America is still going to see significant growth over the next week or so.

Look deeper into the numbers guys. See how many health professionals have picked this up. Like 20 in Sask already. That should tell you something about the spread, its likely a very close sustained type contact type disease. Nurses and doctors with repeated visits to patients and then mingling with each other, single towns with nursing homes, places with a lot of mass transit and international airport hubs. China took people and quarantined them in high rise condos with family members who then got infected.

You arent going to pick this up from a park or a handrail or as some people think, just breathing fresh air.

Even on that Diamond Princess cruise ship, only 17% got infected and that's pretty close quarters sharing the same ventilation system.

According to Dr Tam half the current cases are from community spread, ie handrails and parks.

21 million cell phone users disappeared from service in China . Confirmed cases is the key thing there . China basically lies about everything.
Look at how “pests” magically show up in canola shipments to China costing farmers here millions..... they are the worst manipulative country in earth.
