Peas

I tried winter peas this year for the first time. I seeded them last May and am hoping to combine them next May, or is that maybe!

I have sold my Dun peas to Vicki Dutton , ADM and G3 in the past.

WA Grain also buys them.

Vicki or Dave can answer the marketing questions better than I can.

The variety that we grow is the CDC Dakota Dun pea.

Have been growing them for 8+ years now.

They out yielded our CDC Inca yellow peas in 2019.

Dun peas are a really great product in theory, high protien, better taste then a yellow and should have lots of demand. But they are illiquid and essentially trade at a sharp discount to maple peas. If maple peas are cheaper these won't sell. I prefer to grow maple peas instead.

Acer fall down with any reasonable crop size. Mosaic and Blazer maples are much better.
