    Anyone going to Saskpulse AGM?

Just wondering if anyone is following the AGM for saskpulse since the write up in the producer ...should there be lots of producers there?

It is important to remember the checkoff bill for all commodities runs about 50 million of producers money every year....

Doesn't someone have to be accountable?

I plan to be there. Having debate about the future direction of groups like SPG is very important. IMO the sad reality of today is that we can't rely on governments to do what needs to be done for the industry. Plant breeding, trade issues, increasing market demand are all issues we need to decide what we as an industry will have to pay for. It can be a very interesting debate about what direction we go.

Volunteers today are far and few between. It is essential that there are full time, dedicated employees to do all the policy, regulatory, communication, day to day activities, with focus on grower competitiveness and profitability.

Every construction site has, inspectors, trained professionals and the drive by types.

Trust and faith in the directors and staff is essential, I don’t believe that there is or could be anyone that wants to destroy.

“Penny wise vs pound foolish” , any relationship (personal or business) can succeed when times are good. When challenges, competitiveness, profits, regulations, taxation etc cycle comes around that’s opportunity to get lean and mean - fight for what’s right and in the current- medium and long term interests.

Merry Christmas , keep the glass above the half way mark.

India just hit the world with higher pea tariffs again. Canada will do nothing again and still buy Indian products and allow people to immigrate from these counties it’s time to wake up Canada and push back. This play dead and roll over isn’t working. Oh AGI probably needs a subsidy to buy our peas for 4 bucks and make dog food or fake meat.
