Palm oil production is falling short of expectations. Soy up. Canola flat or down.

So palm oil production is dropping. Remember how all tell us our price is related to other oils at every marketing meeting all the time.

Soy had another great day yesterday.

    South America is dry.

Australia basically had a shit crop again.

Canada has crop under the snow. Now the experts and gov say oh it's just a little bit. Funny 43% of the delegates at the Apas convention said they had a crop out.

Yea we only have 7% left to harvest in Saskatchewan. WHAT AJOKE>

Market news why is Canola flat of down.

    #2
My opinion is that the tough harvest conditions meant a bunch of canola needed to move sooner rather that later. This has resulted in the system being well supplied with no need to bid higher for seed.
Crushers are pounding out product and making some good coin doing it by the looks of the crush margin.

    Also, bills need to paid.

Interesting that for the 2019-20 crop year China is the #2 importer of Canola as of the end of October
