Chuck again if you don’t think every thing Trudeau has done has hurt 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 vs the USA which is as far as I can see way further ahead than us. We’re in a recession thanks to skippy and USA is booming.

    Not drinking just facts.

Trudeau and the liberals are idiots

Maybe there is a trump type on the other side of all this.
Canada’s debt to gdp ratio is lower than the US and projected to fall. The USAs ratio is higher and increasing thanks to Trumps tax cuts and deficits.

Errol pointed out that Houston’s oil industry is losing jobs as well. Hmmm. Must be Trudeau’s fault!

In 2020, Trump will have the presidency, house, senate and courts on his side. He is absolutely going to rewrite his nation and the world. We should be in lock step with that country. Canada always benefits from US boom and now a boom of a generation is under way and skippy drives us into the ditch.
He will likely win presidency since the Dem options are all socialists or bat$hit crazy. Republicans should be able to strengthen their majority on the supreme court.

Regaining the House could be a challenge unless the voters get really mad over the impeachment games Pelosi is playing.

Maybe Errol can explain why Canadians are going to Texas this winter to work if it's as bad as he says. Why in ND it's booming and yet north in Saskatchewan it's not.

Chuck your a socialist from day one. You loved the CWB in all its corruption. That says a lot about you.

              lost 70000 jobs

              Gained 266000 jobs.

              Yea Trudeau is a genius.

Went looking for a microwave in Regina today, Lowe's on north Albert is closing. Sign of the times? Building and Reno boom over? Some big retail spaces empty too yet there is still some new commercial building happening....could never figure that out. Some Sears locations closed(furniture store and outlet store), Eaton's gone, Costco building empty, Alford's floors and interiors closed.

What's killing local retail? Internet shopping and Amazon's, Alibaba, etc.

Where does everyone work? Tim Horton's and the Health Regions?

Could be some interesting times ahead for some people. Kids may never get out of their parent's house.

Salesmen, mechanics, parts men etc. Grain reps crop reps etc.

Oil gas and mining will also add to that number. But the trades and suppliers are going to have to lose some people to keep afloat and that also will be January.

Sunny ways and gay parades don't work for a healthy working country.

Trudeau is a failure of epic proportions and will go down as the most useless PM in all of Canadian history.

Chuck and grass any comment or are you realizing Trudeau is a Cancer that is killing Canada.
It is my opinion that Trudeau is a cancer that is being PAID to kill Canada.

Houston downtown office vacancy is now a staggering 26%. Calgary’s downtown is much larger than Houston’s with our vacancy still hovering near 30%, but the similarities are there.

It’s quite hard to believe the rockstar 266,000 U.S. job creation in November reported yesterday, when manufacturing and oil is in a sharp slowdown stateside. These new jobs are likely low paying. But the stock market fed on it like parana’s yesterday . . . .
Thanks Errol. Its good to have the global and North American perspective on what is happening.

Why would the Canadian Election have a negative impact on oil jobs in texas?

                            Ok, chuck your so smart.

Explain Trudeau is now the gov for the last 4 plus years.

If Canada is doing so good why the loss of 70000 jobs in one month.

And explain why the USA if like the CBC and you say is doing so poor gained 266000 new jobs again.

I'm really interested in your take.

How come everyone here is ignoring the fact that Trump has basically bought those jobs with massive increases in debt. By the end of this first term, if he continues to spend at the rate he has for the first three years he will have increased US debt by 5.088 TRILLION dollars. And his budget for the second term, if he wins, would result in adding over 9 TRILLION in debt over his 8 years. That is a 30% increase in the US debt over all other presidents combined.

You scream bloody murder with the debt in Canada and Trudeau spending, yet it is much less on a per capitia basis than what Trump is spending in buying jobs and inflating the economy.

I believe Errol must have read Chris Varcoe's latest article in the Calgary Herald talking about Houston. A couple of interesting points, Houston's unemployment rate is 3.5% compared to 7.2% in Calgary. Their closer proximity to the coast means they don't have the delivery bottlenecks that we have in Canada. Houston has 5 times the population of Calgary and oil workers are a much smaller piece of the overall pie.

Also read an interesting article on CNBC about U.S. Job numbers, a very interesting read. Also Chuck much to my amusement there is a chart in this article that plots job numbers since 2008. Hmmm, looks almost identical to Canada's that you posted above.
