They've graded it completely before they let you dump and bin it. In order for them to bin it properly they need to have it fully graded. Not to rip you off, but to make sure they don’t have a giant **** up and dump bugs or bin heated canola with a 1 Can or put sprouts and a shitty falling number in with good 1CWRS. Or put tough with dry or low protein with high... They can potentially have a lot of segregation going on and need to grade before dumping to keep that going.
Yes they’re trying to be efficient and get trucks in and out as fast as they can but that doesn’t mean you can’t go in and ask what’s what. Go look at the sample, talk to the staff, see what they see. The companies can’t keep you out, they’re just making it seem awkward for you to go in. Most of the current models are to try and get rid of line ups, if there’s nobody behind you then there’s really no reason not to go in, and if there is, well don’t let that stop you either.
