    Anyone know??????....

How many vessels are waiting or coming in for grain....with the current fiasco I am guessing 3.5 MMT or as many as 55 vessels...Just a guess because my numbers are usually shit on or people say those are not necessarily contracted to be here....

But how do you straighten it out when CN comes back....over winter anyone think they can fix this mess????

It is always enjoyable to be the one paying for reactive crisis management ....just once the people responsible for this mess could step up and pay rather than sending the bill to my farm by way of lower prices and excuses as to why the grain isn't moving....

Just hope we dont get "another one of those winters" that could only compound the problem.

Winter weather won't matter...every day the strike is on costs a week of logistics....they will naturally slow down during winter....and it won't be fixed by spring...2013 will look like child's play compared to the shit storm coming...

Coupled with a shit harvest and keeping Quebec happy ....when do you think the grain will get moved????

Oh and when you close the largest Potash plant that means a few trains are sitting in storage...no potash plant will shutdown without being full to the rafters here and at the coast...unless they haven't learned their lesson yet....

It's captive business, it will be there "later".

Like you said, "at our expense"!

Several elevators with dual access have CN cars spotted and they can’t get them moved to load CP cars, what a shitshow.

You won't see that story on CBC or CTV because it doesn't affect quebec farmers....

CP should supply the power and pull them to the car's destination on the CN infrastructure, they're not using it anyway.

You are off your meds...crazy talk.....lmao...you are talking joint running rights....management will rather see the strike go on forever than lose their monopoly runs...and CP isn't going to upset the apple cart...

That would get Buffet and Gates in a conflict....

They have to keep them running in the winter... engines are cooled with 100% water.

There were 35 vessels showed up last week that is up 55% of normal for the week. Who the heck would order that many extra vessels when there was a looming chance of a strike? But of course they can just pass on dumurage doesn't matter how long strike goes on they will still make there handling.

Yes i know but questions still linger. What about next strike or interruption in shipping, did we learn anything and going to make changes, or just make farmers look like whiners again?
