That sound delightful. When i was young my Mom would force Cod liver oil into us every morning in the winter. She said it would keep us healthy. Might be why i hate winter now!

Suicide rates increase the further north you go. Have you ever watched Swedish or Norwegian movies? Depressing as hell.

Little wonder why all the SMART Scandinavians live here, that COLD mountainous rocky soil is about as low a value as earth has. One tough spot to live in, hell of a tough bunch to survive. None of the neighbours are VIKING types, the nicest, kindest, gentle soft spoken people you could ever want as neighbours...EXCEPT HOW DARE YOU, GRETA!

Anyone who can eat lutefisk and pickled herring I give props to for a strong constitution. Being from a predominantly Scottish Irish German area I never knew much about Scandinavian culture aside from Chef on the muppets till my adult years and I’ve met some darn practical down to earth Swedes and Danes.

Nothing better than pickled herring made from freshly caught Saskatchewan pickerel. Onions. In brine. Ready in two days. Eat till you founder. Pars
