The fact the earth is that old means it was doing its thing long before we got here to supposedly influence its climate. Unless you’ve been reincarnated a billion times and have been burning fossil fuels before the dinosaurs I highly doubt we could have the same effect the sun has on the earths weather. No sun no weather. Period. This stupid conversation means nothing other than costs millions of innocent people money to fix a supposed problem we can’t fix. U wanna waste your time arguing about something u can fix? Figure out how to convince governments not to dump shit and garbage in our waterways.

If "believers" are ready to NOT have children and children are TERRIFIED of burning to cinders in a HOT HOT world in "exactly" 10 years, AKA "Greta the twit", how can such NONSENSE be even spoken by intelligent reasoning people??

(due to the crossing of Canadian wheats with varieties grown in Russia and Himalayas) When garnet was no longer eligible for top grades due to grading changes and demand for Garnet dried up so he had to switch to Thatcher which was back to a much longer season, he grew less. So I am wondering if it was only temperatures or also variety selection that allowed your grandparents to grow wheat in the 30s.
I have no way of knowing now, the old timers are all long gone. I doubt they were aiming for milling quality wheat, based on what my grandma who grew up on a farm east of here told me. They used to grow wheat and milled some of it and her Dad insisted they use that for baking. Evidently it was completely unsuited for baking anything, but they couldn't afford anything else so attempted to use it anyways.

But when you review the temperature records, it does seem reasonable that they were able to grow longer season crops then, and not in the interim period.

Prove it wrong mustard; 4 slides destroy climate change narrative.

It was awesome, except the flour from it was yellow instead of white which is one reason given for its eventual down grading from no 1 milling to basically just a feed wheat. But if that is true, or it was simply political reasons that government and grain buyers wanted it off the market and caused the reclassification of the variety was hotly debated. Still, its much earlier maturity and hardiness resulted in it gaining more than a third of the prairie wheat acres in the 30's before it disappeared.

So please explain how a farmer in the period of 1950 -2010 would have records to establish the growing season length, growing degree days, soil temperature, frost free periods etc?

Do you have those records on your own farm? I doubt it. And I don't know any farmer who has those detailed records.

So any farmer who claims that they know their growing season length is unchanged since 1950 has basically no records to backup their claim.

Why did you send your children to school if you don't believe in science, learning or academics?

Do you file your own corporate taxes? Do you do your own law? Do you do your own surgery and dentistry? Why not just ask the farmer down the road to do it for you if they know more than all the specialists in their field? LOL

Jazz you are out to lunch if you think humanity progressed without listening to scientists, academics and scholars. Perhaps that is why you think the way you do? LMAO
Are these scientists, academics and scholars all part of the 11,000 clowns in the Mickey Mouse club ?? Just wondering is all

Models can be tested against past observations to see if they are accurate and to improve their accuracy.

You don't need a model to measure past trends and draw conclusions about the past.

The trend of higher CO2 levels and higher average global temperatures is well document by several world class scientific organizations.

Name one major scientific organization that says human caused climate change and global warming is not occurring.

                      Denial activist sites don't count.

How fitting that you referenced the mickey mouse club.

Just like Jazz, you love to make wide sweeping condemnation of scientists, economists etc.

When you say something like that you lose all credibility and nobody takes you seriously.

It's the return to the dark ages folks.

Of course, classic left tactic. NASA and NOAA are deniers now haha.

What about the wealth distribution? Was that esteemed member of that notable organization IPCC lying?

Let me guess quote taken out of context. Your mind is cooked chuck. Fried in fact.
