Quick heads up for those in Crap Insurance .....
Your bill is due today, along with your declaration of yields.

Dealing with wet and ugly grain here.

This wheat sat a little long on the truck. The fancy term is “steeping” I believe but it was more like hot moulding. Dryer is currently solving that problem.

Finished wrapping bales for the year yesterday which is nice. Down to 1500 bales or so to move which is nice except most of them are 20 miles from home.

Feeding some hot hay and it’s a hit with the pairs out on pasture yet before they move to the corn. Hopefully got another two weeks of grass yet as long as I can keep water flowing.

Lots of guys still going around here. Had one friend with 13% canola two weeks ago that I said better take it (he didn’t) and now he’s looking at 18% and not sure what to do. Told him we could do it in a month or so when our stuff is hopefully done. Anything resembling a dryer is roaring away in the countryside. Off to Red Deer next week to check out dryers (probably like everyone else) since our little one doesn’t cut it anymore.

            Just to clarify.

You can pay a bit of interest and pay by March 31 if needed. No penalty other than cheap interest.

Also, declaring yields is not until November 15.

For those who may be panicking about this thread! Bigzee, you made me do a double take for sure.

              Trudeau is a fool.

              Trick or treat 👻

With all the goings on here in canada, and some what political unrest from Quebec and the western provinces, maritimes basically a waste land for progress, British Columbia full of leftists looking for everything for free, what keeps our dollar above 75 cents? Honestly, I thought that we would be at 64 cents by now. Canada is in a real tough spot right now, and not going to get better any time soon I'm afraid.

Not when either the liberals or conservatives have zero vision for the country...

When the fads of solar and wind fade because they are not reliable enough or they realize its terribly government subsidized ...then what....

And the fact that someone finally realizes that we are not a dirty country and companies have made strides in providing cleaner energy solutions as they are affordable....maybe we can salvage this country...

I would say this....until some of the politicians realize what is important in life and stop with the nonsense of the world is going to end in 12 years,5 months, 2 days, 26 minutes..... we are a phucked nation,.....

Again we have stupid people running and show and just as stupid hoping to replace them. No vision.

It’s like the seed tax feed me you stupid farmers feed me, give me money. I can’t make it on my own so feed me.
