    Sad Harvest Realization

As long as this harvest has extended, and we're not done, I came to the sad realization that it will take me longer to dry this crop than to harvest it Down to 5% to go

Not to mention the cost in my case just adding to the losses!!

The last two years the dryer ran till Christmas and this year might finish earlier as we started combining a bit earlier. Propane is becoming hard to get which doesn’t help. Might “finish” today by baling up some really wet wheat and choking the last quarter of standing tough barley through.

So close and yet ............. so far away ............ is the elusive finish line

Capturing that moisture for next year. Good move. Hope to get some fieldwork happening here soon after the last few fields get done either by the combine or baler. Whichever gets there first and hopefully sooner than later.

Same here, drying since FIRST day combining, and couple weeks to go....never ending 2019 shit show. Every month since seeding was a torment of emotions for me.
Many neighbours mountains or many bags to dry, mostly DAMP oats and canola... watch that stuff, bin FIRE not far from us already!

Lots of canola/wheat/oats out. Most guys less then half done. Nothing gonna happen now for a long time.

Ya not a good situation in many areas at all

But I guess if your super insured it does not matter if you get the crop off or not because of rain .. or snow or downgraded crops . That would be super nice though
