with the fall we are having what is the toughest wheat or Durham has a person put in a air bin, and what are the best times to run the fans, morning , night or all day given the cool damp fall this year.

Depends on size of bin and fan. 25000 with 10hp we don’t put tougher than 18. Takes forever with this kind of weather. We run them 24/7 as our power is on demand so we pay the same whether it’s one day or the whole month. We will pull a few loads at the end of the month and decide if the fan needs to go back on.

      Like pumping anything else.
      How much fan, ducting, grain.
      Then temp, humidity, time.
Learn by doing but install cables!
Isn't there some aeration lady expert in Sask?? PAMI or something.

Simple fact, incoming air MUST be colder than the grain or you are doing SFA drying, of course air will keep it from spoiling, hopefully FREEZE it to keep..
