1.6 $B Cut to Corporate Subsidies - Go Scheer

Corporate Subsidies or influence peddling in our banana republic? Not to mention government subsidies($600 M) to the media. Think a media pay-off is a gag order (protect Trudeauites) or is it just gentle coercion to put a lid on Bernier so he can’t get traction in Quebec? Wonder how US, everything is up-front, talk of impeachment, politician’s accomplices in jail - what’s going on here?

The media party will now be outraged.

How will Lisa LaFlamme spin this?

The only thing fat boy is working on is another government handout to continue to pay Fairfax shareholders......

I hear government program requirements are pretty “loose” and ill-defined - what can one say? It’s election time.

Does that include oil industry subsidies or just agriculture? Again what are the details? If we want secondary processing it may take some assistance. Is this another wheatboaed deal or is it thought out?

Don’t you dare say that on a conservative forum. Lol

Why aren’t we looking at why ilta and other are having problems. Many times transportation causes financial losses etc. We need companies to buy our grain they need to survive but so do we. I think an in depth analysis of why so many producers are worried about getting paid exists?
Why are some buyers taking weeks to pay? Find the cause and fix this. Rather than worry so much about who gets what when they go broke fix why so that they don’t.

It worries me that this is another cut to agriculture spending Which will be justified because the past spending was maybe done incorrectly.

Big Wheel, to give subsidies to media when the wealthiest families in Canada own them, common!
